I believe that it's hard to think of a business that is new and innovating. Usually, people just copy others and make their own business exel in that field. But, it isn't so easy. Many start a business and they lose. For a few winners, there always has to be many more losers, otherwise we can't compare people.
Basically, what I'm stating is what I believe to be true. I have many good online ideas, but when I plan one type of business, I see that it's flaws would be barely bigger than it's accomplishments. I love animals so much, that I had thought about making a website that sells pet stuff, but it wouldn't be very profitable, especially that food has expiration dates. Pet clothes, that can be a bit easier to maintain while I wait for new buyers, but treats and other profucts are definitely off-limits for me.
I am tired of being paid very little to write articles or proofread them, when I can simply write them for myself and advertise some companies that will pay me directly. Isn't that what's easier and more profitable?
Let me know how your home businesses are working out for you!
The new trend of the online business is social networking site which pays user . Now there are lots of sites claiming that they will pay their user for the participation . Since social networking site`s have the potential of all taste of members and have the ability to reach various taste of members . so the advertisers which is the back bone of this type of sites are ready to spend their money by advertising on these sites . So the important thing to remember is the participation may be some thing worth and can be attracted by the advertisers. Hence it is important the users must post quality articles and participation and genrate traffic for the site . Otherwise these type of sites are useless and will be a big failure
I knew the site is new and wont have got involved if the earning program would not have been here.
Searching the site for complaints was not helpful so, I did a search on my own by serching the site itself. Tried to get reply to quesitons
Why they pay? Oh! advertisers are here, and above all they want users to write thier own experience based posts so that they can judge the members. They will be sponsoring the profiles and insist one way or the other upon the users to make their profile look better. The sponsors will see the sample blogs or artilces and their apptitude towards webstie handling.
That was a good reason for me to Join. I know the site is hunting for good writers and have the referral program to get some good content writers to get hiered and charge the sponsors some fees to share among its users.

Mushrooms help keep a healthy body and ward of diseases. Mushrooms have high medicinal value and can help lose weight also. Mushrooms are gaining importance as health food and source of valuable medicines. It is estimated that there are 100,000 different kinds of mushrooms, of which 700 can be used as food. They are nutritious and rich in minerals.
They are rich in minerals, vitamin D (ergosterol), thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), dietary fibre as well as all the essential amino acids and are low in fat and calories.
Approximately 200 species appear to have medicinal value, each with its own unique chemistry.
Extensive research on medicinal mushrooms has been going on since
the past 20 years in many countries. There are many plants that act as adaptogens (also known as biological response modifiers) to assist the body in adapting to environmental and psychological stress. All the important systems of the body including the nervrous, endocrine, adrenal, and immune systems benefit from adaptogens by increasing or decreasing their function as needed.
Studies suggest that mushrooms are pro-biotic. They keep our body healthy and ward off diseases by maintaining physiological homeostasis. The compounds they contain have been classified as Host Defence Potentiators (HDP), which enhances the immune system. Researches also show that there are thousands of semi essential, non-vitamin factors in mushrooms that protect the body against many diseases including cancer.
Medicinal mushrooms such as Reishi, Shiitake and Maitake enhances immune function by stimulating cell-mediated immunity. Such mushrooms seem to turn on cells in the immune system called T-cells that appear to have significant cancer-fighting properties. Three different anticancer drugs extracted from mushrooms have been approved by the Japanese Health and Welfare Ministry. They are Lentinan, derived from Shiitake, Schizophyllan, derived from Suehirotake and PSK, derived from Kawaratake. PSK sold in Europe and Japan, is the best-selling cancer drug in the world. In Japan, only 30 percent of cancer treatment includes radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.
Hi there... I am about to leave for my office. I've only 10 minutes to write here... I just visited the forums and boy, it has become a terrible mess again... It is a new member this time, thankfully only one fellow.. But hell, he is worse than 3-4 spammers... He's been posting anything... I've seen flooders writing things like 'hello..' or 'thank you' in one post... But this new fellow has one of his post this way... 'asfsaawruaflsanf;lasha;su'... Hello!!! This is an Inn of Experts and let us keep it that way. I think the Admin should ban such members. We don't need such fellows, do we??
Well... I am leaving for office now!! I hope it will be better when I log in again tomorrow... Have fun!!!! And my sincere thanks to the genuine members for holding the fort...
Are we ready to do anything if we are offered money?
Yes, this is regarding users at expertinn who work to earn money.
I am not most active on forums but I refer members here and what they
do here? In my ad I send them saying you will learn and yes "you can
earn "is my least preferred line in the ad text.
But what do all those members (exceptions are always everywhere) do here,
In forums, Some one is posting ok, i agree, even naming a person and
adding a word to just welcome him, instead of letting them follow you
on blogs, articles or serious discussions of improving quality of
actions.
What is on blogs, some one is writing a couplets of shayri, some one just posting ads and referral links and most of them are copying from other websites.
Articles are even more horrible. Some members have posted articles in whole sale without even bothering to choose a category to post.
DO not let money overpower on you. Let money follow you .
Fitness is the essence of a man. Fitness is the ability of a person to do his normal everyday tasks with full alertness and vigor without worrying about fatigue afterward and with extra energy in reserve which can be useful when emergencies arise or during leisure and recreation. Overall fitness must be the primary goal every man must try to achieve. In fitness, no one is ever too young or too old for improvement.
One's fitness can be improved by ngaging in aerobic exercises and through strength training. There are three components of overall fitness that every man must focus on working out in order to be in healthy, tip-top shape. These are cardiovascular work, strength training and of course, these should be coupled with a healthy diet.
Staying strong by building muscles. Man's fitness regimen should include a work out routine which aims to build the muscles. Aging causes a decrease in muscle mass of five to seven pounds (2-3.2 kgs) of muscle for every ten years in one's adult life given that he lives an inactive lifestyle. Truly, the saying "use it or lose it" is very applicable to the muscles. Fortunately, there is a good solution to this. Loss of muscle mass can be replaced by engaiging in strength training.
Improvement of Man's fitness by cardiovascular work out. Flexibility exercises, strength training and cardiovascular work out surely help boost a man's fitness and all these should be part of a man's work out scheme. But of all these, cardiovascular work is the most necessary. Exercises under cardiovascular work conditions and develops the cardiovascular system and also works out large muscle groups.
So if a man does not have much time for working out, devoting whatever free time he might have to aerobic exercises would do him fine. He might have to pass out on developing those biceps but so long as cardiovascular work out exercises are done, then the blood pressure, heart and cholesterol levels will be fine to keep you staying happy and healthy.
The essence of nutrition to man's fitness. It is best as well as well recommended to eat whole and natural foods frequently than do it on large amounts in one to three sittings. Always keep variety in mind when doing the shopping. This will ensure that one is getting most if not all of the nutrients and minerals needed by the body to keep fit and healthy. Always keep the three important macronutreints in the diet; these are fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Prioritize proteins though over carbohydrates but never exclude any one of the three on some fad diet.
Some tips in keeping a man's fitness level high, efficient and safe:
1.) Drink plenty of water all through out the day, especially when working out.
2.) Do exercises properly using the correct techniques, whether it's weight lifting or aerobic exercises. Always read and understand, and follow of course, the instructions outlined by the personal trainer.
3.) Make sure the is always a spotter when lifting weights.
4.) Challenge the muscles, but make sure that it's kept safe.
5.) Stretch, warm-up prior to working out and cool-down gradually after sessions.
6.) Check the equipment for safety before using them.
7.) It is better to do less than overdo the whole thing. Overtraining will exhaust enthusiasm and kill performance.

Reserve a space from web hosting provider and register a domain are the next movement in this
preparation cycle.
These 2 tasks can be done simultaneously. The provider might either has both services or might offer
you a free domain name as long as you sustain your account.
congratulation
Bravo! this is a significant landmark of your online business development. A step closer to your dream
- having your own online home business. Earn your extra Income with "Make your knowledge sell".
Name your business
Treat your business as a new born baby, give her a name. The best name flash in is to entitle it as the
niche keyword. Do you wish your site being found in the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc.).
It is highly recommend, register a name that contains the keyword instead of your company name.
There are advantages in naming in this way, you might get extra merit in Search Engine ranking
algorithm.
Second when a potential surfer search for info if by any chance she enters your niche keyword, your
domain will be the first one reported on the return list.
Call me John
However, the domain might not available any more. It was being registered by someone else. One way
to solve this type of conflict is to use hyphens between the keywords.
Especially if your keyword is a phrase, use hyphen will work. My niche is a good example. extra
income seeker is my keyword phrase, I registered it as
extra-income-seeker.com
Another way to solve domain name unavailable is to use number to stand for certain keyword - 4 as
for, as to, 5 as find or 6 as seek just a few examples.
Web site hosting is a buyers market
This is a severe cut-throat competitive business. Surprisingly they might offer you a free domain name
as long as you were hosting with them.
Nevertheless our goal is to setup a long term business. Reliable service provider is our business
foundation. The importance regarding to reliable is just like the result of live or dead.
Free lunch
There are providers on the web hosting any web sites for free. Remember, nothing is free any more on
the web. There is always a fair market value for anything. You might need to pay a bigger price if your
are greedy.
My opinion, if you are in business, or your are a serious user you should totally avoid from them.
The First Priority - Reliable
From my experience, you should look for provider who was in business for a while let say at least 5
years. Asking for a reasonable service fee and provide a sufficient traffic bandwidth plus large enough
storage space for your business.
Nowadays, quite a lot of business have chosen Bluehost as their service provider.
Bluehost has fulfilled all the basic criterion that we need in our business development.
Web Hosting Is More Than Just Bandwidth

The scenic beauty and greens are a must see. Any body who hasn't visited Kerala as yet grab the first best possible opportunity and see the place. Only then would you know why its referred to as god's own land!!!

Colors are the important entity in life. For approximately 30% of men, color vision is limited. All Green Traffic lights are the bottom most and Red is the top most color. To be employed in the technological industries, one must be able to discern colors, and faded shades of colored wires, markers, devices, LEDs etc.
Color is caused by the reflection of light off an object. If there were no color (assuming you aren't just colorblind) that would mean there was no light. So you are either in a dark place or the sun has gone out. We would all die of boredom if there was no color!
If there was no color, then we would have no idea what color is. Think about how you would describe color to someone who has been blind their entire life; it would be impossible. There are probably lots of things like color that we don't have the senses to perceive, therefore we have no idea what we are missing.
In order for you to "see" there has to be some form of colour whether black and white or whatever. Colors form the basis of life.

Kathakali Mask : All Kathakali Mask is hand crafted from papier mache by some of the best artists. Each piece is a unique as this Mask is hand carved. Kathakali dance from Kerala, which, though is not a mask dance, does involve distinctive dramatic facial coloring meant for the transformation of human dancer-actors into suras (gods) and asuras (demons) and other mythological characters. The heavy facial coloring almost makes the performers look as if they are wearing mask. Masks are worn to accompany oral tradition, and the carvers can creatively express a village story or concept through the art form. The mask is a heritage of this planet and works beyond all stipulated geo-political boundaries of the world. Mask are a covering used to disguise or protect the face. Throughout history people in almost every society have used mask. The Mask forms a silent language which is universally understood and which defines the essence of human expressions and emotions at various levels - spiritual, religious and material
When we sit to write or type something many thoughts comes to our mind and we get condused about what to write. Many times we write something but again after reading we think there is some mistake in it or what we have written is not correct or out of sense. Hence we try to correct what we have written or stop writing only.
It is always good to put it on the paper or type what's comes to your mind without thinking that what you have written is correct or not. Unless and until you write something you cannot judge yourself about How well or Good you write.
So my friend try it out. All the best.
One of the simplest and most effective ways to bring down blood glucose levels, cut the risk of cardiovascular disease, and improve overall health and well-being is physical fitness and exercise. Yet, in our increasingly sedentary world, where almost every essential task can be performed online, from the driver's seat, or with a phone call, exercising and being physically fit can be tough case to sell.
In reality, everyone should exercise, yet survey shows that only 30% of the United States adult population gets the recommended thirty minutes of daily physical activity, and 25% are not active at all.
Inactivity is thought to be one of the key reasons for the surge of type 2 diabetes in America, because inactivity and obesity promote insulin resistance and other factors that trigger other kinds of diseases.
The good news is that it is never too late to get moving, and exercise is one of the easiest ways to start controlling the onset of any kinds of diseases. For people who are already candidates for some serious diseases like diabetes and heart failure, exercise and physical fitness can improve the condition of some parts of the body like insulin sensitivity, lower the risk of heart disease, and promote weight loss.
In 2003, the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism had published an issue regarding the result of their study and found out that lack of exercise and physical fitness were the key factors behind obesity and other serious diseases like diabetes.
Hence, it is extremely important for a person to stay healthy and be physically fit in order to avoid such illnesses.
Getting Started
The first order of business with any exercise plan, especially if you are a "dyed-in-the-wool" couch potato, is to consult with your health care provider.
If you have cardiac factors, your doctor may want to perform a stress test to establish a safe level of exercise for you.
Certain complications of some diseases will also dictate what type of exercise program you can take on. Activities like weightlifting, jogging, or high-impact aerobics can possibly pose a risk for people with diabetic retinopathy due to the risk for further blood vessel damage and possible "retinal detachment."
Health experts also contend that patients with sever peripheral neuropathy or PN should avoid foot-intensive weight-bearing exercises such as long-distance walking, jogging, or step aerobics and opt instead for low-impact activities like swimming, biking, and rowing.
If you have conditions that make exercise and physical fitness a challenge, your provider may refer you to an exercise physiologist who can design a fitness program for your specific needs.
If you are already active in sports or work out regularly, it will still benefit you to discuss your regular routine with your doctor.
The bottom line is that physical fitness and exercise should not have to be a rigid activity and should not come off strong. Your exercise routine can be as simple as a brisk nightly neighborhood walk, walking the dog, or simply taking the stairs instead of the elevator. The important thing is that you keep on moving. Every little bit really helps a lot.
In the end, you will realize that the many things that good food can bring you are equally the same as what physical fitness can do for you.
When you talk about sports fitness, what comes first in your mind? It is, basically, the different sports activities, right? This is because sports fitness has always been referred to as the sports itself.
Generally, sports entail physical activities that are usually carried out for some "recreational" functions such as self-satisfaction, entertainment, competition, etc. It uses physical activity that is why most fitness experts regard sports as one way of staying fit and healthy. It can also be considered as one way of physical fitness; the only difference is that sports fitness is more inclined to the development of skill or ability.
However, like physical fitness, sports fitness is also capable of toning down the body fats of a person. Because of its rigid and strict health program, a sports enthusiast is able to maintain a well-balanced lifestyle in order to cope up with the strenuous demands of sports.
In sports, people should learn how to value their health. Otherwise, they can never endure the kind of energy that is required when playing sports activities.
Therefore, for people whoa re into sports fitness, here are some tips that you could use in order to stay healthy and be active on whatever sports you want to pursue:
1. Drinks lots of water
Humans can survive days, or even months without food, but they can never last a day without water.
Water is, indeed, the most important element needed by the body. Excessive perspiration, without any means of replenishing the lost fluids will result to serious health problems, and even death.
Therefore, for people who are into strenuous exercises and trainings, it is best to always drink lots of water.
However, for sports enthusiasts, water may not be enough to replace the kind of fluid lost. Hence, it would be better if they would have sports drinks instead. Aside from the fluid, sports drinks have tow additional important ingredients needed by a person who is into sports fitness: carbohydrates and electrolytes.
Electrolytes are usually lost during strenuous physical activity, and this can only be replaced through sports drinks. Carbohydrates, on the other hand, are also needed by the body during rigid workouts to provide more energy so that the body can cope up to the demands of the activity.
2. More veggies!
People who are into sports fitness require more intakes of vegetables and fruits. This is because the body is craving for more vitamins and mineral supplements. It makes the body stronger and healthier enabling it to cope up with demands of the activity.
3. Calcium intake
People who are into sports fitness should have calcium present on their diet. This is to provide stronger bones to the body.
Since the body is more exposed to greater physical activities, it is important to have stronger bones in order to avoid fractures or certain bone diseases like "osteoporosis."
Calcium can be found in different vitamin and mineral supplements. They are also abundant in foods like sardines, tofu, dairy products, etc.
4. Warm exercises are always important before any kind of strenuous activities.
This kind of activity is needed in order not to strain the body. Hence, before playing the sports that you have always love, it is best to do some warm-up exercises first.
Indeed, engaging into sports activities is one great way of being physically fit. The best thing about it is that in sports, you get to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Here are 10 tips for women to stay fit and healthy:
1. Staying fit and healthy starts with a balanced diet. Know and monitor the right weight for your age. Consult your doctor to learn what food you should avoid and follow your eating discipline routines. If you are trying to lose some weight, foods with high calories should be omitted from your meals. Food with high fiber and low fat should be included a priority in your grocery list instead of red meat, sugars and fats.
2. Drink plenty of water. Drinking at least eight glasses of water everyday. This cleanses the body from impurities. It is also advised for lactating women to increase water intake to keep the body hydrated.
3. Take Vitamins and Supplements. Do not forget your Calcium supplement. Sufficient Calcium intake is beneficial for women of all ages. This has been proven to prevent having cramps and Pre-Menstrual Period (PMS) Symptoms. It also prevents Osteoporosis especially for menopausal women. Vitamin E boosts strong immune system. 4. Quit smoking. If you are smoking, stop. It is also a big "NO" for pregnant women, as this will affect the health of the baby. Pregnant women who smoke may pass the harmful content of cigarettes to babies through the bloodstream. Recent studies have shown that women smokers are more prone to diseases than men smokers. Women who smoke have a high risk of getting breast cancer. Also limit your alcohol intake.
5. Incorporate exercises in your daily routine. Take a walk after work, use stairs instead of elevator or play with your kids when you are at home. Home exercises are also effective especially when you do not have time to go to the gym and would like to lose some weight. Yoga and Pilates are only a few of the many effective exercises you can do at home. Exercises help in limiting the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
6. Avoid stress. Many women are prone to too much stress. Stress has been known as cause to many sicknesses. As much as possible take time to relax.

Counter Strike released by Valve Entertainment is a first person Shooter Game. This game really ROCKS!! although the graphics, physics and sound doesn't seem to touch your soul but the overall gameplay is fine.this game has both offline and online modes . unlike counter - strike source u can play this game in a offline mode/single player game call tour of duty.generally there are major classes in this game 1.counter - terrorists, 2. terrorists, 3.Hostages. the game starts in various senarios each of the cops and the terrorists have a specific spawning area.the main objective of terrorists is to plant a bomb in the given bombsites or oppose cops from rescuing hostages and as opposinte to that counter- terrorists have to stop them from planting a bomb and if planted then diffuse that bomb,or rescue hostages.
the one race which remains 2 points ahead of the other wins.if u r playing a offline game then u have to complete certain goals. oncompleting them and being 2 ahead we can win .other than the duty mode we can go for a custome game in which we can decide the weapons rules and select terrorist to play and have a taste to use their weapons.
this game is cool at least i like it very much, hope u like the review and the game too.

So after comparing everything we see that both the bikes are nearly the same, neglecting some minor differences. So which one is better. In my personnel opinion FZ16 is better than FAZER because in looks department FZ16 is better than FAZER . The don't mess with me look of FZ16 makes it very different from other bikes.Another thing is that if you look at the rear of both the bikes you will notice than FAZER will suffer a greater loss in case of a damage because its headlight is very costly and can take damage easily. FAZER is also around 7-8 thousands costlier than FZ16. So in my opinion FZ16 is better than FAZER.

If you are looking for any help in Java, ABAP, VBA, Excel or Insurance then you are at the right place.
You work for a company that has been going through a lot of changes and upheaval. Word is going around about lay-offs and you worry you will be next. If you've been an exemplary employee and the lay-off is not because of anything you've done, be sure you ask these three questions as you are being handed your Pink Slip:
1. Ask for a Letter of Reference. You can use this to help you land that new job because it will be beneficial to have a letter that praises you and your accomplishments. This will show future employers that your termination was a business decision and not because of any wrong-doing on your part. Most people forget to ask about this, and it is difficult to try to go back later and ask for one.
2. Ask about severance pay. You are not automatically guaranteed this unless it was stipulated in your employment contract when you were hired.. Typically, one week of severance is given for each year of service to the company, but this can be negotiable. And, especially if you've recently finished an important project, been honored or achieved a major goal, be sure to remind them. It may buy you another week of severance pay they weren't planning on giving.
3. Are you entitled to unused vacation pay? In most cases, the answer is no. Some companies allow you to roll over your unused time from one year to the next, while others have a use it or lose it policy. Most companies will explain their rules in the employee handbook, but asking to be paid for your unused vacation pay just may earn you a few extra dollars you could use right now.
You may not get any severance or vacation pay, and you especially won't if you don't ask for it. Don't forget, this is a very difficult situation for your boss, too, so he or she may be willing to give you more than had been planned on. You'll never know unless you try, and the worst they can do is say no. If the moment passes, chances are you won't have another opportunity to ask these questions again. Knowing ahead of time what to ask for may give you the confidence to speak up for yourself at this difficult time. Good luck!

Small quote:
Remember the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other
A person can be tested how much they are advanced in Krishna consciousness by how much they are detached from material sense gratification. If someone is still attached to material sense enjoyment and at the same time posses himself as a great devotee, he is cheating. "Great devotee" means that one is no longer disturbed by material desires. We may put a dog on a throne and crown him as king. But when someone throws a bone he will jump off the throne and immediately run for the bone. Many, so called "Devotees" are exposed when they were found to be having illicit sex and intoxication. Lord Caitanya taught us the standard for pure devotional service. He said that He had no desire for wealth, women, followers, or even for liberation from the cycle of birth and death, that the only thing He desired was devotional service birth after birth. This is the standard of pure bhakti.
"Vedic society is based on the principle of love - between husband and
wife, father and son, the king and the citizens, and so on.
Civilization must be founded on love, not law. Modern civilization
lacks this basis of love, so everything is superficial and false. But
if devotion to Krishna, is made the basic principle, then people will
be happy."
Our acutal problem by which we came in this material
world is the envyness & the fault finding nature. Today we want to
keep ourself in the center of everything, and because of this we find
faults in everyone. This is the only reason because of which the "LOVE"
between two people have vanished. Today people come togather for the
selfish motive. The result is everywhere & everyone, people are
back bitting each other at every moment.
So the one who finds this
faults & retifies it, and develop the loving relationship with Lord
Krishna, His devotees & with everyone are the people most
satisfied, happy, & are very dear to Lord Krishna.
Plz Chant,
Hare Krishna.
As a man is eager to meet a young girl or a girl is eager to meet a
young man; just be eager to meet Krsna, just be eager to serve Krsna,
to know Krsna, to love Krsna, and Krsna will reveal Himself. Prabhupada
is explaining that we must approach a spiritual master in a disciplic
succession, but we must approach in the mood in which Brahma approached
Krsna, not just as a fashion, not just as some time of social
etiquette; but with desperation, with urgency tat this is the prime and
ultimate need of life to inquire.
As we become more advance in Krsna
consciousness, it is not tat we know everything and we just speak and
we don't want to hear from anyone else; it is the opposite. If we are
actually making advancement, we are getting the taste in hearing about
Krsna, we want to hear it again and again, we are eager to learn, we
are eager to inquire so tat message would be broadcasted again.
How are You & Life?
So plz tell me if you have any question, doubt or problem, in understanding this Krsna Consciousness
In this material world everyone wants to be dear to or loved by as many
people as possible. This is a natural, healthy psychology. But
practically no one knows how to be dear to or loved by everyone. The
secret of how to attain this exalted state of perfect love can be
learned simply by considering the example of a tree. When we water a
tree do we water the leaves and branches, or do we water the root? We
water the root because only in this way we can water the entire tree.
The realized transcendentalist sees the entire reality like a tree with
Krishna as the root. Therefore he pours his love 100% into Krishna and
thus his full love becomes transmitted to all living being throughout
the entire existence.
Now consider this: Who are those people
that you love the most? They are the people that love you most. So in
this way, you can understand that a person who purely, selflessly loves
everyone by transmitting all of his love to Krishna will naturally
become dear to everyone.
Instead of asking what Krishna can do for us, we should be asking what we can do for Krishna. This is the secret of success in spiritual life. Even though millions of people believe in God, it is indeed very rare to find a person who has realized God. This is because everybody is approaching God to serve their own purposes. Practically no one is approaching God to serve God's purposes. Approaching God to fulfill our desires is not surrender. It is business. I flatter the Lord that He is great because I want to get something out of Him. This is not love of God. This is love of my own desires. But when we approach Him to serve His desires, we are blessed with the ultimate privilege of becoming one of His eternal associates. He personally gives Himself to us. There is nothing sweeter or more rewarding than this. A person who has fully surrendered to and has thus fully realized God cannot be lacking in anything because that Supreme Person who owns and controls everything has become his personal property.
Today, we feel pride for our looks, our intellegence, for our money,
for our height, our body, colour of our body & etc., due to this we
think ourself as a very great personalities, but actually we should
never feel pride or should not be egoestic, for the thing that we have
got as the gift. Do we feel proud for the gift, No. Instead we should
be thankfull to the Lord for giving us such a wonderfull body, looks
& intellegence. We should think, if we are so beautifull, handsome
or intellegent, then how much smart & intellegent a person will be,
who have made us, & that is Lord Brahma & the one who made Lord
Brahma will be much more beautifull, & intellegent then brahma. Ok
just think, do we have got any computer before our birth, to design
ourself? Answer is No. So instead of feeling proudy, its much better to
lead a life by thanking the Lord Krishna, and that is the real proper
use of our looks & intellegence.
Plz Chant,
Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare,
Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Hare.
At the present moment our minds are polluted with the dirt accumulated
over millions and millions of lifetimes of sense gratification. Even
though our original pure nature is eternal, full of knowledge, and full
of bliss, due to our mental contamination we are presently suffering in
the realm of temporality, ignorance, and misery. By the purificatory
process of chanting the holy names of God we can revive our original,
pure nature and thus relish the sweetest happiness at every minute.
May
this Diwali Lord Rama Chandra enters in our Heart, & we could Kill
the Ravana within us. And what is that Ravana within us, that is Lust,
Greed, Anger, Pride, & Envy. So i hope we can try to Kill this
Ravana from within us permanantly. And lead a life full of Happiness by
re-establishing our loving relationship with Lord Krishna.
Wish you a very Happy Diwali & a prosperous New Year.
Plz Chant,
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare,
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
& Be Happy.
As the bucket for my bath fills, I read reports that tell me that because of the bad monsoon last yaer , we have only a hundred odd days of water left in mumbai for our needs . I dont know if 2009 pathetic monsoon was the result of climate change, but I had better get used to bucket baths because some time in the near future, I may be lucky to get to do even that. I have filled the bucket to the top and am astounded to see that I ned just half of it for my bath. Soap , rinse , splash and I am clean and fesh with just half a bucket? I am seriously impressed. The rest of the now soapy water, I decided , I will use for at least one flush. Next I head out intending genuiely to say thank you and bye bye to my regular cabbie and take a bus to the station instead , but I can not do it. As I satnd at buss stop, Smothered in the dust created by the two year long road concretisation project in my neighbouredhood, I remember whyI stopped taking trains for my grat commute roughly two years ago. It was because every single road on the way to the station has been dug for long projects. To get to the station took anything between 40 minutes to an hour , after which I had need to wait for a train , travel to Mahim and walk to the office . So I needed to factor about 90 minutes to two hours only to get to work by cab however , I am usally at the office with in 30 minutes. It was also because the local tarins are impossible crowded . I used to love the train ,I still do I think of them longily because they give me freedom of the city . Nothing seems faraway but the trains are a nightmare these days. I cave, I step pout of the bus shelter and return to wide grin and open door of Yadavji and his cab, I cannot take a bus or train . Atleast I am not brave enough to do that today
If a child runs into the room saying "Mummy, mummy! I love Jesus and He loves me! We're all going to Heaven when we die and God is looking over us!", people will smile and praise the child. Nobody would say "Don't be silly. You can't possibly say that because you don't fully understand everything about the religion. How can you know that for sure, when you've not read the Bible in the original Hebrew?!?". But if a child (or teenager, or adult) says "I've had a good think about it, and have come to the conclusion that Jesus is a myth and nothing in Christianity makes much sense. I declare myself to be a freethinking secular humanist.", then they are quite likely to receive the latter response. You could have all the theological training of a hedgehog and still get wild applause if you stand up and say you're a Christian, but it seems that atheists are required to demonstrate more intelligence and Biblical expertise than all the clergymen and theologians that have ever lived before they are allowed to publicly express their doubts. -Adrian Barnett

It was like my dream coming true ,really a great event for me to see myself among those featured members from whom I was inspired. My faith in online work had completely given up and I had told my self a last try to work as I had a referral channel alrady in my lists.
To reach my payout soon, I made the mistake despite knowing that it is not allowed, I copied a few articles form one site and pasted them on the site and saw my earnings increased. I was too eargr to know the working of the site. I contacted the admin of the site, and I was sent the links of my articles with a tag disapproved. There was message attached which encouraged me to continue after removing all my copied content.
My first experience of making a buck was with a gomezpeer which used to pay members for referrals who downloaded and kept running their software. Later the company stopped paying members perhaph form India and I never reached their minimum payout of $5 . But yes they paid me twice and that was all.
My experiences with online websites went bad as every website I joined truned to be fake. I promoted one earnparttimejobs day and night but they just turned fake, then saw some proof of awsurveys and they too were in the que of fake sites.I lost several hours of hard work to them. My faith in online work had completely given up and I had told my self a last try to work as I had a referral channel alrady in my lists.
I was able to find a sense in the site as payments were upfront instead of saying you will be paid percentages for what your referral will earn as other sites tell you.

As a mom, I always find ways to supplement our family income in order to fill in the needs of my kids. Stuffs like milk, diapers and the likes are not available without a price tag. Everything under the sun are not for free.
While browsing the net, I find various sites which offer earning opportunities. Sad to say some are scam. I was once a victim of scam sites which unfortunately stole most of my time. Thank God I only lost time but not money. Luckily, I was able to jumped into freelancing which allowed me to work in the comfort of our home. I was able to provide administrative services, bookkeeping, data entry and web research. Both the buyer and the provider are protected, meaning buyers are guaranteed to receive the service they want and the provider is guaranteed to receive payment. The site I am referring to is oDesk. oDesk is so helpful in the sense that it gives opportunity for moms like us to earn additional income without etra cost. The payment is guaranteed and you will not work for nothing. Every time you log in, you are paid. Aside from oDesk, you can also try Elance, Getafreelancer and Guru. They have good reputation of offering legitimate business online.
Another site that appeals to me right now is Expert Inn. I was surprised to receive an email from a person whom I do not know. Instead of deleting her message which I usually do, I tried to follow the link and registered for the site that she is promoting. I find the site very promising and worthy of trust. I am so thankful to her because of introducing this type of part time source of income. It is my fervent hope that this site will grow a thousand fold and help improve the lives of millions who are suffering from the financial crunch.

Hi Freinds I am into this feild from past around 7 months and I got very good experince and very bad experince. When I started so I searched in Google and I found that PTC and Ptr is popular way to make money online so I had joined many Ptc and Ptr sites and I did not have any idea that many sites are running scam , due to lack of information and knowledge I had wasted my time on Ptc and Ptr sites. I became Happy when I got to know that I can earn $10 to view adds because many scam sites offers and make fake promiss to make you rich in one week well I did not invest in any site But I had invested My time and as day by day I lerant many things that No Ptc and Ptr offers you hight per rate clicl means $0.01 to $0.02 not more than that. I had signup many sites which I had already mentioned so I had reached payout in Sweetptr.com which was $5000 and I became very excited that I will earn money But I was wrong as I wanted to click on request payout they will dissappaer and never display again. But I learnt many things so First Never Invest On any site because they want to make you fool to make fake prommise . I have joined many other programmes like paid to chat , paid to write, and ofcource Social networking ExpertInn which is My favourite. Question is How You will find out that which site is scam or which site is legit . There are few ways first You can check in Google by typing that particular sites mane along legit or scam and if any one has registered complaint about that site so You can easily find out . There is site Ptc Investigation which contain all legit and scam sites list so You can check there also . Most Important way is Just send Your question to Admin and if He will reply your question so means It is legit site because just Think if Admin will not reply you so How you can expect your payment from them . Well This is experince I have Which I can share with you. Thanks For reading
Thanks

Hooky was getting very tired. Practically every day in the castle of Worriidus, the Knights of Vaal brought their catapults to smash down the castle, and every time, before the Knights of Vaal turned their catapults the correct direction, Hawkeye would shoot the ropes of the catapults, sending the rocks back the way they came. So one day Hooky the young captain, with seven soldiers behind him, went to attack the Knights of Vaal in weapon-to-weapon combat. Sir Jerry smote one of the Vaal Knights a blow in the stomach with the pommel of his dagger, taking the breath out of the Vaal knight. The two Worriidus jailers, Sellwatches and Watchcells, pulled the fallen Vaal knight into the castle and clapped him in irons.
Hooky, Jerry, Mike and Jim charged a group of four Vaal knights. When the brief encounter was over, Jerry, Mike and Jim were wounded, two Vaal knights lay dead, and Hooky was captured. Then, Jerry, Mike, Jim, Jeff, John and Jake moved aside, as Hawkeye poured a barrel of sleeping draught off the side of the battlements onto the Vaal knights.
Tata Nano to be featured at New York design museum
The Tata Nano, designed to be the world's most affordable car, will be on view at prestigious Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York's from Feb 18 through April 25 next year.
A bright, sunshine yellow Nano, built by Indian auto major Tata Motors, will be on display in Cooper-Hewitt's Great Hall, along with diagrams and a short film describing its concept, development and production, the Smithsonian Institution announced Friday. The name 'Nano' connotes high technology, small size and low price, it said, noting Tata Motors is currently developing versions of the Nano for European and American markets.
This ultra-cheap compact car contributes to the world of affordable motoring, and like its predecessors, Henry Ford's Model T, the Volkswagen Beetle, Citroen 2CV and the original Fiat 500, the Tata Nano continues the tradition of inexpensive cars made in large numbers, it said. 'Cooper-Hewitt's mission is to present the very latest developments in design and technology and the Tata Nano introduces more families in India to the new world of affordable and safer mobility,' said Cara McCarty, curatorial director of the museum.
'We're eager to display the Tata Nano at the museum, where many visitors will see it for the first time.' Unveiled last year in India, the Tata Nano is targeted to families who had not previously been able to afford a car. Billed as 'the people's car,' the base model starts at $2,200 in India and can accommodate up to five adults. Conceived by Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata Group, the Tata Nano is intended as an all-weather form of personal transportation that provides a safer and cleaner alternative to the two-wheelers that are pervasive in India, where often entire families ride clinging to a motorbike or a scooter.
The Nano offers a high fuel efficiency of 50 miles per gallon, making it more fuel efficient and less polluting than all other cars on the road today in India, the Smithsonian noted. Designed by a team of 500 Indian engineers, the 35-horsepower, four-door vehicle has been pared down to the essentials: It is about10 feet long, weighs approximately 1,300 pounds, has an all-sheet-metal body, a rear two-cylinder engine, small tubeless tires, a reinforced passenger compartment, crumple zones, seat belts and achieves a top speed of 65 miles per hour.
To allay concerns about safety, the car passed a roll-over test and offset impact, which are not regulated in India. Its barebones design, as of now, does not include more costly features such as power steering, air bags, antilock brakes or an exterior left passenger-side mirror, which are not mandatory in India, it said.
Agoraphobia is the strange fear of wide open, unknown places, that lie outside the person's preconceived safe/home zone. This psychological disorder can lead to severe panic attacks, if the person suffering from it is moved out of his immunized zone. This irrational fear is very treatable though

'Dabeer-ul-Mulk, Najm-ud-daulah Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan (Urdu/Persian: مرزا اسد اللہ بیگ خان ), pen-name Ghalib (Urdu/Persian: غالب, ġhālib means dominant) and (former pen-name) Asad (Urdu/Persian: اسد, asad means lion) (27 December 1797 - 15 February 1869), was a classical Urdu and Persian poet from India during British colonial rule. During his lifetime the Mughals were eclipsed and displaced by the British and finally deposed following the defeat of the Indian rebellion of 1857, events that he wrote of. Most notably, he wrote several ghazals during his life, which have since been interpreted and sung in many different ways by different people. He is considered, in South Asia, to be the one of the most popular and influential poets of the Urdu language. Ghalib today remains popular amongst Urdu speakers not only in India and Pakistan but also amongst diaspora communities around the world.
He never worked for a livelihood, lived on either state patronage, credit or the generosity of his friends. His fame came to him posthumously. He had himself remarked during his lifetime that although his age had ignored his greatness, it would be recognized by later generations.
Poetry career
Although Ghalib wrote in Persian as well, he is more famous for his ghazals written in Urdu. It is believed he wrote most of his popular ghazals by age nineteen.[citation needed] His ghazals, unlike those of Meer Taqi Meer, contain highly Persianised Urdu. Numerous elucidations of Ghalib's collection of ghazals have been written by Urdu scholars. The first such elucidation or Sharh was written by Ali Haider Nazm Tabatabai of Hyderabad during the rule of the last Nizam of Hyderabad. Before Ghalib, the ghazal was primarily an expression of anguished love; but Ghalib expressed philosophy, the travails and mysteries of life and wrote ghazals on many other subjects, vastly expanding the scope of the Ghazal. This, together with his many masterpieces, will forever remain his paramount contribution to Urdu Poetry and Literature.
In keeping with the conventions of the classical ghazal, in most of Ghalib's verses, the identity and the gender of the beloved is indeterminate. The beloved could be a beautiful woman, or a beautiful boy, or even God. As the renowned critic/poet/writer Shamsur Rahman Faruqui explains,[4] since the convention of having the "idea" of a lover or beloved instead of an actual lover/beloved, freed the poet-protagonist-lover from the demands of "realism", love poetry in Urdu from the last quarter of the seventeenth century onwards, consists mostly of "poems about love" and not "love poems" in the Western sense of the term.
The first complete English translation of Ghalib's love poems (ghazals) was written by Sarfaraz K. Niazi[5] and published by Rupa & Co in India and Ferozsons in Pakistan. The title of this book is Love Sonnets of Ghalib and it contains complete roman transliteration, explication and an extensive lexicon.
His letters
Mirza Ghalib was a gifted letter writer.[6] Not only Urdu poetry but the prose is also indebted to Mirza Ghalib. His letters gave foundation to easy and popular Urdu. Before Ghalib, letter writing in Urdu was highly ornamental. He made his letters "talk" by using words and sentences as if he were conversing with the reader. According to him "sau kos se ba-zaban-e-qalam baatein kiya karo aur hijr mein visaal ke maze liya karo" [ from hundred of miles talk with the tongue of the pen and enjoy the joy of meeting even when you are separated] His letters were very informal, some times he would just write the name of the person and start the letter. He himself was very humorous and also made his letter very interesting. He said "main koshish karta hoon keh koi aisi baat likhoon jo parhay khoosh ho jaaye" [ I want to write the lines that whoever reads those should enjoy it] When the third wife of one of his friends died, he wrote... "Allah Allah aik woh log hain jo teen teen dafah iss qaid say chhoot chu-kain hain aur aik hum hain keh aik ag-lay pachas baras say jo phansi ka phanda ga-lay mein parha hai to nah phanda hi tut-ta hai nah dum hi nikalta hai" [Allah Allah, there are some among us who have been freed from this prison three times and I have for the past 50 years this rope around my neck; neither this rope breaks nor it takes my life] Some scholar says that Ghalib would have the same place in Urdu literature if only on the basis of his letters. They have been beautifully translated into English by Ralph Russell, The Oxford Ghalib.
Ghalib was an invaluable chronicler of this turbulent period. The structure of Delhi crumbled as if in an earthquake. One by one, Ghalib saw the bazaars - Khas Bazaar, Urdu Bazaar, Kharam-ka Bazaar, disappear, whole mohallas (localities) and katras (lanes) vanished leaving not a trace behind. The havelis (mansions) of his friends were razed to the ground. Ghalib wrote that Delhi had become a desert. Water was scarce. Delhi was now " a military camp". It was the end of the feudal elite to which Ghalib had so consciously belonged. He wrote:
"An ocean of blood churns around me- Alas! Were these all!
The future will show
What more remains for me to see".
[edit] His Takhallus
His original Takhallus (pen-name) was Asad, drawn from his given name, Asadullah Khan. At some point early in his poetic career he also decided to adopt the takhallus 'Ghalib' (meaning all conquering, superior, most excellent).
Popular legend has it that he changed his nom de plume(pen name) to 'Ghalib' when he came across this sher (couplet) by another poet who used the takhallus(pen name) 'Asad':
Asad us jafaa par buton say wafaa ki
mire sher shabaash rahmat Khudaa ki
Asad worshipped idols after being betrayed.
my poems(thank you,)are, the mercy of GOD.
The legend says that upon hearing this couplet, Ghalib ruefully exclaimed, "whoever authored this couplet does indeed deserve the Lord's rahmat (mercy) (for having composed such a deplorable specimen of Urdu poetry). If I use the takhallus Asad, then surely (people will mistake this couplet to be mine and) there will be much la'anat (curse) on me!" And, saying so, he changed his takhallus to 'Ghalib'.
However, this legend is little more than a figment of the legend-creator's imagination. Extensive research performed by commentators and scholars of Ghalib's works, notably Imtiyaz Ali Arshi and Kalidas Gupta Raza, has succeeded in identifying the chronology of Ghalib's published work (sometimes down to the exact calendar day!). Although the takhallus 'Asad' appears more infrequently in Ghalib's work than 'Ghalib', it appears that he did use both his noms de plume interchangeably throughout his career and did not seem to prefer either one over the other.

Personal life
Mirza was born in KalaMahal in Agra. His birth place was later, in 19th centuries, converted in a girls school known as Indrabhan Girls Inter College. The birth room of Mirza galib is present till this time in the school. Around 1810, he was married into a family of Umrao Begum, daughter of Nawab Ilahi Bakhsh Khan of Loharu' (younger brother of the first Nawab of Loharu, Nawab Mirza Ahmad Baksh Khan [7], at the age of thirteen. He had seven children, none of whom survived (this pain has found its echo in some of Ghalib's ghazals). There are conflicting reports regarding his relationship with his wife. She was considered to be pious, conservative and God-fearing while Ghalib was carefree, unconventional, and arguably, not very religious in the strict sense of the word.
In fact, Ghalib was proud of his reputation as a rake. He was once imprisoned for gambling and subsequently relished the affair which was deeply embarrassing at the time with pride. In one incident, when someone praised the poetry of the pious Sheikh Sahbai in his presence, Ghalib immediately retorted, "How can Sahbai be a poet? He has never tasted wine, nor has he ever gambled; he has not been beaten with slippers by lovers, nor has he ever seen the inside of a jail." In the Mughal court circles, he even acquired a reputation as a "ladies man".[8]
Ghalib was a very liberal Sufi who believed that the search for god within liberated the seeker from the narrowly Orthodox Islam, encouraging the devotee to look beyond the letter of the law to its narrow essence. His Sufi views and mysticism is greatly reelected in his poems and ghazals. As he once stated:
" The object of my worship lies beyond perception's reach;
For men who see, the Ka'aba is a compass, nothing more."[8]
Like many other Urdu poets, Ghalib was capable of writing profoundly religious poetry, yet was skeptical about the literalist interpretation of the Islamic scriptures. On the Islamic view and claims of paradise, he once wrote in a letter to a friend:
"In paradise it is true that i shall drink at dawn the pure wine mentioned in the Qu'ran, but where in paradise are the long walks with intoxicated friends in the night, or the drunken crowds shouting merrily? Where shall i find there the intoxication of Monsoon clouds? Where there is no autumn, how can spring exist? If the beautiful houris are always there, where will be the sadness of separation and the joy of union? Where shall we find there a girl who flees away when we would kiss her?".[8]
He staunchly disdained the Orthodox Muslim Sheikhs of the Ulema, who in his poems always represent narrow-mindedness and hypocrisy:
"The Sheikh hovers by the tavern door,
but believe me, Ghalib,
I am sure i saw him slip in
As i departed."[8]
In another verse directed towards the Muslim maulavis (clerics), he criticized them for their ignorance and arrogant certitude:"Look deeper, it is you alone who cannot hear the music of his secrets". In his letters, Ghalib frequently contrasted the narrow legalism of the Ulema with "its pre-occupation with teaching the baniyas and the brats, and wallowing in the problems of menstruation and menstrual bleeding" and real spirituality for which you had to "study the works of the mystics and take into one's heart the essential truth of God's reality and his expression in all things".[8]
He believed that if God laid within and could be reached less by ritual than by love, then he was as accessible to Hindus as to Muslims. As a testament to this, he would later playfully write in a letter that during a trip to Benares, he was half tempted to settle down there for good and that he wished he had renounced Islam, put a Hindu sectarian mark on his forehead, tied a sectarian thread around his waist and seated himself on the banks of the Ganges so that he could wash the contamination of his existence away from himself and like a drop be one with the river.[8]
He died in Delhi on February 15, 1869. The house where he lived in Gali Qasim Jaan, Ballimaran, Chandni Chowk, in old Delhi, has now been turned into 'Ghalib Memorial' and houses a permanent exhibition on him.
Popular culture
Film, TV serial and plays based on Ghalib
Indian Cinema has paid a tribute to the legendary poet through a film (in sepia/black and white) named Mirza Ghalib (1954) in which Bharat Bhushan plays Ghalib and Suraiya plays his courtesan lover, Chaudvin. The musical score of the film was composed by Ghulam Mohammed and his compositions of Ghalib's famous ghazals are likely to remain everlasting favorites.
Pakistan Cinema has also paid tribute to the legendary poet through another film also named Mirza Ghalib. The film was directed by M.M. Billoo Mehra and produced as well by M.M. Billoo Mehra for S.K. Pictures. The music was composed by Tassaduq Hussain. The film starred Pakistan film superstar Sudhir playing Ghalib and Madam Noor Jehan playing his courtesan lover, Chaudvin. The film was released on November 24, 1961 and reached average status at the box-office, however, the music remains memorable in Pakistan to this day.
Gulzar produced a TV serial, Mirza Ghalib (1988), telecast on DD National and was quite well-accepted and liked by viewers.[citation needed] Naseeruddin Shah played the role of Ghalib in the serial, and it featured ghazals sung and composed by Jagjit Singh and Chitra Singh [9].
The Pakistan government in 1969 commissioned Khaliq Ibrahim (died 2006) to make a documentary on Mirza Ghalib. The movie was completed in 1971-2, and is regarded as a masterpiece. It is said, that the movie, a docudrama, was historically more correct than what the official Pakistan government point of view was. Thus, it was never released. Till this date, barring a few private viewing, the movie is lying with the Department of Films and Publication, Government of Pakistan. The movie was made on 16 mm format. Ghalib's role was played by actor Subhani Bayunus, who later played this role in many TV productions.
Various theatre groups have staged plays related to the life of Mirza Ghalib. These have shown different lifestyles and the way he lived his life.
An animation film on Mirza Ghalib is telecast on Zee Cinema.
Contemporaries and disciples
Ghalib's closest rival was poet Zauq, tutor of Bahadur Shah Zafar II, the then emperor of India with his seat in Delhi. There are some amusing anecdotes of the competition between Ghalib and Zauq and exchange of jibes between them. However, there was mutual respect for each other's talent. Both also admired and acknowledged the supremacy of Meer Taqi Meer, a towering figure of 18th century Urdu Poetry. Another poet Momin, whose ghazals had a distinctly lyrical flavour, was also a famous contemporary of Ghalib. Ghalib was not only a poet, he was also a prolific prose writer. His letters are a reflection of the political and social climate of the time. They also refer to many contemporaries like Mir Mehdi Majrooh, who himself was a good poet and Ghalib's life-long acquaintance.
Sir Muhammad Iqbal (Punjabi, Urdu: علامہ محمد اقبال; November 9, 1877, Sialkot - April 21, 1938, Lahore) was a Persian- and Urdu-language poet, philosopher and politician[1] of Indian descent whose vision of an independent state for the Muslims of British India was to inspire the creation of Pakistan. He is commonly referred to as Allama Iqbal (علامہ اقبال, Allama meaning "Scholar").
After studying in Cambridge, Munich and Heidelberg, Iqbal established a law practice, but concentrated primarily on writing scholarly works on politics, economics, ishi history, philosophy and religion. He is best known for his poetic works, including Asrar-e-Khudi-which brought a knighthood- Rumuz-e-Bekhudi, and the Bang-e-Dara, with its enduring patriotic song Tarana-e-Hind. In India, he is widely regarded for the patriotic song, Saare Jahan Se Achcha. In Afghanistan and Iran, where he is known as Eghbāl-e-Lāhoorī (اقبال لاہوری Iqbal of Lahore), he is highly regarded for his Persian works.
Iqbal was a strong proponent of the political and spiritual revival of Islamic civilisation across the world, but specifically in South Asia; a series of famous lectures he delivered to this effect were published as The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam. One of the most prominent leaders of the All India Muslim League, Iqbal encouraged the creation of a "state in northwestern India for Muslims" in his 1930 presidential address.[2] Iqbal encouraged and worked closely with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and he is known as Muffakir-e-Pakistan ("The Thinker of Pakistan"), Shair-e-Mashriq ("The Poet of the East"), and Hakeem-ul-Ummat ("The Sage of Ummah"). He is officially recognized as the national poet of Pakistan.[3][4][5] The anniversary of his birth (یوم ولادت محمد اقبال - Yōm-e Welādat-e Muḥammad Iqbāl) is on November 9, and is a national holiday in Pakistan.
Allama Iqbal was born in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan ; the eldest of five siblings in a Kashmiri family.[6][7] Iqbal's father Shaikh Nur Muhammad was a prosperous tailor, well-known for his devotion to Islam, and the family raised their children with deep religious grounding.
Iqbal was educated initially by tutors in languages and writing, history, poetry and religion. His potential as a poet and writer was recognised by one of his tutors, Sayyid Mir Hassan, and Iqbal would continue to study under him at the Scotch Mission College in Sialkot. The student became proficient in several languages and the skill of writing prose and poetry, and graduated in 1892. Following custom, at the age of 15 Iqbal's family arranged for him to be married to Karim Bibi, the daughter of an affluent Gujrati physician. The couple had two children: a daughter, Mi'raj Begam (born 1895) and a son, Aftab (born 1899). Iqbal's third son died soon after birth. The husband and wife were unhappy in their marriage and eventually divorced in 1916.
Iqbal entered the Government College in Lahore where he studied philosophy, English literature and Arabic and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating cum laude. He won a gold medal for topping his examination in philosophy. While studying for his masters degree, Iqbal came under the wing of Sir Thomas Arnold, a scholar of Islam and modern philosophy at the college. Arnold exposed the young man to Western culture and ideas, and served as a bridge for Iqbal between the ideas of East and West. Iqbal was appointed to a readership in Arabic at the Oriental College in Lahore, and he published his first book in Urdu, The Science of Economics in 1903. In 1905 Iqbal published the patriotic song, Tarana-e-Hind (Song of India).
At Sir Thomas's encouragement, Iqbal travelled to and spent many years studying in Europe. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College at Cambridge in 1907, while simultaneously studying law at Lincoln's Inn, from where he qualified as a barrister in 1908. Iqbal also met a Muslim student, Atiyah Faizi in 1907, and had a close relationship with her. In Europe, he started writing his poetry in Persian as well. Throughout his life, Iqbal would prefer writing in Persian as he believed it allowed him to fully express philosophical concepts, and it gave him a wider audience.[1] It was while in England that he first participated in politics. Following the formation of the All-India Muslim League in 1906, Iqbal was elected to the executive committee of its British chapter in 1908. Together with two other politicians, Syed Hassan Bilgrami and Syed Ameer Ali, Iqbal sat on the subcommittee which drafted the constitution of the League. Working under the supervision of Friedrich Hommel, Iqbal published a thesis titled: The Development of Metaphysics in Persia.[8]
Literary career
Upon his return to India in 1908, Iqbal took up assistant professorship at the Government College in Lahore, but for financial reasons he relinquished it within a year to practice law. During this period, Iqbal's personal life was in turmoil. He divorced Karim Bibi in 1916, but provided financial support to her and their children for the rest of his life.
While maintaining his legal practice, Iqbal began concentrating on spiritual and religious subjects, and publishing poetry and literary works. He became active in the Anjuman-e-Himayat-e-Islam, a congress of Muslim intellectuals, writers and poets as well as politicians, and in 1919 became the general secretary of the organisation. Iqbal's thoughts in his work primarily focused on the spiritual direction and development of human society, centred around experiences from his travel and stay in Western Europe and the Middle East. He was profoundly influenced by Western philosophers such as Friedrich Nietzsche, Henri Bergson and Goethe, and soon became a strong critic of Western society's separation of religion from state and what he perceived as its obsession with materialist pursuits.
The poetry and philosophy of Mawlana Rumi bore the deepest influence on Iqbal's mind. Deeply grounded in religion since childhood, Iqbal would begin intensely concentrating on the study of Islam, the culture and history of Islamic civilization and its political future, and embrace Rumi as "his guide." Iqbal would feature Rumi in the role of a guide in many of his poems, and his works focused on reminding his readers of the past glories of Islamic civilization, and delivering a message of a pure, spiritual focus on Islam as a source for socio-political liberation and greatness. Iqbal denounced political divisions within and amongst Muslim nations, and frequently alluded to and spoke in terms of the global Muslim community, or the Ummah.[4]
[edit] Works in Persian
Iqbal's poetic works are written mostly in Persian rather than Urdu. Among his 12,000 verses of poem, about 7,000 verses are in Persian. In 1915, he published his first collection of poetry, the Asrar-e-Khudi (Secrets of the Self) in Persian. The poems delve into concepts of ego and emphasise the spirit and self from a religious, spiritual perspective. Many critics have called this Iqbal's finest poetic work.[9] In Asrar-e-Khudi, Iqbal has explained his philosophy of "Khudi," or "Self." He proves by various means that the whole universe obeys the will of the "Self." Iqbal condemns self-destruction. For him the aim of life is self-realization and self-knowledge. He charts the stages through which the "Self" has to pass before finally arriving at its point of perfection, enabling the knower of the "Self" to become the viceregent of Allah.[4]
In his Rumuz-e-Bekhudi (Hints of Selflessness), Iqbal seeks to prove that Islamic way of life is the best code of conduct for a nation's viability. A person must keep his individual characteristics intact but once this is achieved he should sacrifice his personal ambitions for the needs of the nation. Man cannot realise the "Self" out of society. Also in Persian and published in 1917, this group of poems has as its main themes the ideal community, Islamic ethical and social principles and the relationship between the individual and society. Although he is true throughout to Islam, Iqbal recognises also the positive analogous aspects of other religions. The Rumuz-e-Bekhudi complements the emphasis on the self in the Asrar-e-Khudi and the two collections are often put in the same volume under the title Asrar-e-Rumuz (Hinting Secrets), and it is addressed to the world's Muslims. Iqbal sees the individual and his community as reflections of each other. The individual needs to be strengthened before he can be integrated into the community, whose development in turn depends on the preservation of the communal ego. It is through contact with others that an ego learns to accept the limitations of its own freedom and the meaning of love. Muslim communities must ensure order in life and must therefore preserve their communal tradition. It is in this context that Iqbal sees the vital role of women, who as mothers are directly responsible for inculcating values in their children.
Iqbal's 1924 publication, the Payam-e-Mashriq (The Message of the East) is closely connected to the West-östlicher Diwan by the famous German poet Goethe. Goethe bemoaned that the West had become too materialistic in outlook and expected that the East would provide a message of hope that would resuscitate spiritual values. Iqbal styles his work as a reminder to the West of the importance of morality, religion and civilization by underlining the need for cultivating feeling, ardour and dynamism. He explains that an individual could never aspire for higher dimensions unless he learns of the nature of spirituality.[4] In his first visit to Afghanistan, he presented his book "Payam-e Mashreq" to King Amanullah Khan in which he admired the liberal movements of Afghanistan against the British Empire. In 1933, he was officially invited to Afghanistan to join the meetings regarding the establishment of Kabul University.
The Zabur-e-Ajam (Persian Psalms), published in 1927, includes the poems Gulshan-e-Raz-e-Jadeed (Garden of New Secrets) and Bandagi Nama (Book of Slavery). In Gulshan-e-Raz-e-Jadeed, Iqbal first poses questions, then answers them with the help of ancient and modern insight and shows how it effects and concerns the world of action. Bandagi Nama denounces slavery by attempting to explain the spirit behind the fine arts of enslaved societies. Here as in other books, Iqbal insists on remembering the past, doing well in the present and preparing for the future, emphasising love, enthusiasm and energy to fill the ideal life.[4] Iqbal's 1932 work, the Javed Nama (Book of Javed) is named after and in a manner addressed to his son, who is featured in the poems, and follows the examples of the works of Ibn Arabi and Dante's The Divine Comedy, through mystical and exaggerated depiction across time. Iqbal depicts himself as Zinda Rud ("A stream full of life") guided by Rumi, "the master," through various heavens and spheres, and has the honour of approaching divinity and coming in contact with divine illuminations. In a passage re-living a historical period, Iqbal condemns the Muslim traitors who were instrumental in the defeat and death of Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula of Bengal and Tipu Sultan of Mysore respectively by betraying them for the benefit of the British colonists, and thus delivering their country to the shackles of slavery. At the end, by addressing his son Javid, he speaks to the young people at large, and provides guidance to the "new generation."[4]
His love to Persian language is evident in his works and poetry. He says in one of his poems:[10]
گرچہ اردو در عذوبت شکر است
garche Urdu dar uzūbat shakar ast
لیک پارسی ام ز ہندی شیرینتر است
lék Pārsī-am ze Hindi shīrīntar ast
Translation:
Even though in sweetness Urdu* is sugar - (but) My Persian is sweeter than Hindi*
Works in Urdu
Iqbal in Spain, 1933.
Iqbal's first work published in Urdu, the Bang-e-Dara (The Call of the Marching Bell) of 1924, was a collection of poetry written by him in three distinct phases of his life.[4] The poems he wrote up to 1905, the year Iqbal left for England imbibe patriotism and imagery of landscape, and includes the Tarana-e-Hind (The Song of India), popularly known as Saare Jahan Se Achcha and another poem Tarana-e-Milli (Anthem of the (Muslim) Community), which was composed in the same metre and rhyme scheme as Saare Jahan Se Achcha. The second set of poems date from between 1905 and 1908 when Iqbal studied in Europe and dwell upon the nature of European society, which he emphasized had lost spiritual and religious values. This inspired Iqbal to write poems on the historical and cultural heritage of Islamic culture and Muslim people, not from an Indian but a global perspective. Iqbal urges the global community of Muslims, addressed as the Ummah to define personal, social and political existence by the values and teachings of Islam. Poems such as Tulu'i Islam (Dawn of Islam) and Khizr-e-Rah (The Guided Path) are especially acclaimed.
Iqbal preferred to work mainly in Persian for a predominant period of his career, but after 1930, his works were mainly in Urdu. The works of this period were often specifically directed at the Muslim masses of India, with an even stronger emphasis on Islam, and Muslim spiritual and political reawakening. Published in 1935, the Bal-e-Jibril (Wings of Gabriel) is considered by many critics as the finest of Iqbal's Urdu poetry, and was inspired by his visit to Spain, where he visited the monuments and legacy of the kingdom of the Moors. It consists of ghazals, poems, quatrains, epigrams and carries a strong sense religious passion.
The Pas Cheh Bayed Kard ai Aqwam-e-Sharq (What are we to do, O Nations of the East?) includes the poem Musafir (Traveller). Again, Iqbal depicts Rumi as a character and an exposition of the mysteries of Islamic laws and Sufi perceptions is given. Iqbal laments the dissension and disunity among the Indian Muslims as well as Muslim nations. Musafir is an account of one of Iqbal's journeys to Afghanistan, in which the Pashtun people are counseled to learn the "secret of Islam" and to "build up the self" within themselves. Iqbal's final work was the Armughan-e-Hijaz (The Gift of Hijaz), published posthumously in 1938. The first part contains quatrains in Persian, and the second part contains some poems and epigrams in Urdu. The Persian quatrains convey the impression as though the poet is travelling through the Hijaz in his imagination. Profundity of ideas and intensity of passion are the salient features of these short poems. The Urdu portion of the book contains some categorical criticism of the intellectual movements and social and political revolutions of the modern age.
Political career
While dividing his time between law and poetry, Iqbal had remained active in the Muslim League. He supported Indian involvement in World War I, as well as the Khilafat movement and remained in close touch with Muslim political leaders such as Maulana Mohammad Ali and Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was a critic of the mainstream Indian National Congress, which he regarded as dominated by Hindus and was disappointed with the League when during the 1920s, it was absorbed in factional divides between the pro-British group led by Sir Muhammad Shafi and the centrist group led by Jinnah.
In November 1926, with the encouragement of friends and supporters, Iqbal contested for a seat in the Punjab Legislative Assembly from the Muslim district of Lahore, and defeated his opponent by a margin of 3,177 votes. He supported the constitutional proposals presented by Jinnah with the aim of guaranteeing Muslim political rights and influence in a coalition with the Congress, and worked with the Aga Khan and other Muslim leaders to mend the factional divisions and achieve unity in the Muslim League.
Revival of Islamic polity
Iqbal's second book in English, the Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam, is a collection of his six lectures which he delivered at Madras, Hyderabad and Aligarh; first published as a collection in Lahore, in 1930. These lectures dwell on the role of Islam as a religion as well as a political and legal philosophy in the modern age. In these lectures Iqbal firmly rejects the political attitudes and conduct of Muslim politicians, whom he saw as morally misguided, attached to power and without any standing with Muslim masses. Iqbal expressed fears that not only would secularism weaken the spiritual foundations of Islam and Muslim society, but that India's Hindu-majority population would crowd out Muslim heritage, culture and political influence. In his travels to Egypt, Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey, he promoted ideas of greater Islamic political co-operation and unity, calling for the shedding of nationalist differences. He also speculated on different political arrangements to guarantee Muslim political power; in a dialogue with Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Iqbal expressed his desire to see Indian provinces as autonomous units under the direct control of the British government and with no central Indian government. He envisaged autonomous Muslim provinces in India. Under one Indian union he feared for Muslims, who would suffer in many respects especially with regard to their existentially separate entity as Muslims. Sir Muhammad Iqbal was elected president of the Muslim League in 1930 at its session in Allahabad, in the United Provinces as well as for the session in Lahore in 1932. In his presidential address on December 29, 1930, Iqbal outlined a vision of an independent state for Muslim-majority provinces in northwestern India:
"I would like to see the Punjab, North-West Frontier Province, Sind and Baluchistan amalgamated into a single state. Self-government within the British Empire, or without the British Empire, the formation of a consolidated Northwest Indian Muslim state appears to me to be the final destiny of the Muslims, at least of Northwest India."
In his speech, Iqbal emphasised that unlike Christianity, Islam came with "legal concepts" with "civic significance," with its "religious ideals" considered as inseparable from social order: "therefore, the construction of a policy on national lines, if it means a displacement of the Islamic principle of solidarity, is simply unthinkable to a Muslim." Iqbal thus stressed not only the need for the political unity of Muslim communities, but the undesirability of blending the Muslim population into a wider society not based on Islamic principles. He thus became the first politician to articulate what would become known as the Two-Nation Theory - that Muslims are a distinct nation and thus deserve political independence from other regions and communities of India. However, he would not elucidate or specify if his ideal Islamic state would construe a theocracy, even as he rejected secularism and nationalism. The latter part of Iqbal's life was concentrated on political activity. He would travel across Europe and West Asia to garner political and financial support for the League, and he reiterated his ideas in his 1932 address, and during the Third Round-Table Conference, he opposed the Congress and proposals for transfer of power without considerable autonomy or independence for Muslim provinces. He would serve as president of the Punjab Muslim League, and would deliver speeches and publish articles in an attempt to rally Muslims across India as a single political entity. Iqbal consistently criticised feudal classes in Punjab as well as Muslim politicians averse to the League.
Relationship with Jinnah.
Ideologically separated from Congress Muslim leaders, Iqbal had also been disillusioned with the politicians of the Muslim League owing to the factional conflict that plagued the League in the 1920s. Discontent with factional leaders like Sir Muhammad Shafi and Sir Fazl-ur-Rahman, Iqbal came to believe that only Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a political leader capable of preserving this unity and fulfilling the League's objectives on Muslim political empowerment. Building a strong, personal correspondence wwith Jinnah, Iqbal was an influential force on convincing Jinnah to end his self-imposed exile in London, return to India and take charge of the League. Iqbal firmly believed that Jinnah was the only leader capable of drawing Indian Muslims to the League and maintaining party unity before the British and the Congress:
"I know you are a busy man but I do hope you won't mind my writing to you often, as you are the only Muslim in India today to whom the community has right to look up for safe guidance through the storm which is coming to North-West India and, perhaps, to the whole of India."
There were significant differences between the two men - while Iqbal believed that Islam was the source of government and society, Jinnah was a believer in secular government and had laid out a secular vision for Pakistan where religion would have "nothing to do with the business of the state." Iqbal had backed the Khilafat struggle; Jinnah had dismissed it as "religious frenzy." And while Iqbal espoused the idea of Muslim-majority provinces in 1930, Jinnah would continue to hold talks with the Congress through the decade and only officially embraced the goal of Pakistan in 1940. Some historians postulate that Jinnah always remained hopeful for an agreement with the Congress and never fully desired the independence of India. Iqbal's close correspondence with Jinnah is speculated by some historians as having been responsible for Jinnah's embrace of the idea of Pakistan. Iqbal elucidated to Jinnah his vision of a separate Muslim state in a letter sent on June 21, 1937:
"A separate federation of Muslim Provinces, reformed on the lines I have suggested above, is the only course by which we can secure a peaceful India and save Muslims from the domination of Non-Muslims. Why should not the Muslims of North-West India and Bengal be considered as nations entitled to self-determination just as other nations in India and outside India are."
Iqbal, serving as president of the Punjab Muslim League, criticised Jinnah's political actions, including a political agreement with Punjabi leader Sir Sikandar Hyat Khan, whom Iqbal saw as a representative of feudal classes and not committed to Islam as the core political philosophy. Nevertheless, Iqbal worked constantly to encourage Muslim leaders and masses to support Jinnah and the League. Speaking about the political future of Muslims in India, Iqbal said:
"There is only one way out. Muslims should strengthen Jinnah's hands. They should join the Muslim League. Indian question, as is now being solved, can be countered by our united front against both the Hindus and the English. Without it, our demands are not going to be accepted. People say our demands smack of communalism. This is sheer propaganda. These demands relate to the defence of our national existence.... The united front can be formed under the leadership of the Muslim League. And the Muslim League can succeed only on account of Jinnah. Now none but Jinnah is capable of leading the Muslims."
Death
In 1933, after returning from a trip to Spain and Afghanistan, Iqbal began suffering from a mysterious throat illness. He spent his final years working to establish the Idara Dar-ul-Islam, an institution where studies in classical Islam and contemporary social science would be subsidised, and advocating the demand for an independent Muslim state. Iqbal ceased practising law in 1934 and he was granted pension by the Nawab of Bhopal. After suffering for months from his illness, Iqbal died in Lahore in 1938. His tomb is located in the space between the entrance of the Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort, and official guards are maintained there by the Government of Pakistan.
Iqbal is commemorated widely in Pakistan, where he is regarded as the ideological founder of the state. His Tarana-e-Hind is a song that is widely used in India as a patriotic song speaking of communal harmony. His birthday is annually commemorated in Pakistan as Iqbal Day, a national holiday. Iqbal is the namesake of many public institutions, including the Allama Iqbal Medical College, Allama Iqbal Open University and the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. Government and public organizations have sponsored the establishment of colleges and schools dedicated to Iqbal, and have established the Iqbal Academy to research, teach and preserve the works, literature and philosophy of Iqbal. His son Javid Iqbal has served as a justice on the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Influence and legacy
If we are resolved to describe Islam as a system of superior values, we are obliged, first of all, to acknowledge that we are not the true representatives of Islam.
-Muhammad Iqbal
Allama Iqbal is regarded as one of the most influential Muslim poet and scholar of the 20th century throughout the Muslim World.[citation needed] His concept of Islamic revival did not only lead to the creation of Pakistan, but also the Iranian Revolution, which he had prophesied.[citation needed] His works were also influential during the breaking up of the central Asian former Soviet republics, most of which were Muslim majority.[citation needed] Allama Iqbal's poetry has also been translated into several European languages where his works were famous during the early part of the 20th century.

Iqbal's father Shaikh Nur Muhammad was a prosperous tailor, well-known for his devotion to Islam, and the family raised their children with deep religious grounding.Iqbal was educated initially by tutors in languages and writing, history, poetry and religion.
Throughout his life, Iqbal would prefer writing in Persian as he believed it allowed him to fully express philosophical concepts, and it gave him a wider audience. It was while in England that he first participated in politics. Working under the supervision of Friedrich Hommel, Iqbal published a thesis titled: The Development of Metaphysics in Persia.
[edit] Literary career
Iqbal denounced political divisions within and amongst Muslim nations, and frequently alluded to and spoke in terms of the global Muslim community, or the Ummah.
Works in Persian
Iqbal's poetic works are written mostly in Persian rather than Urdu. Among his 12,000 verses of poem, about 7,000 verses are in Persian. In 1915, he published his first collection of poetry, the Asrar-e-Khudi (Secrets of the Self) in Persian. The poems delve into concepts of ego and emphasise the spirit and self from a religious, spiritual perspective. Many critics have called this Iqbal's finest poetic work. In Asrar-e-Khudi, Iqbal has explained his philosophy of "Khudi," or "Self." He proves by various means that the whole universe obeys the will of the "Self." Iqbal condemns self-destruction. For him the aim of life is self-realization and self-knowledge. He charts the stages through which the "Self" has to pass before finally arriving at its point of perfection, enabling the knower of the "Self" to become the viceregent of Allah.

We all start out in life believing in ourselves and our capabilities. Learning to feed ourselves, walk and talk are all part of the automatic survival instinct that is innate within us. Children will usually be comfortable and fearless in running to join other children in a playground and will automatically join in a game or activity without checking first to see if it is okay. They are naturally trusting and nonjudgmental. Over time these personal levels of trust and confidence can become eroded, by warnings and negative messages from parents, siblings, the environment around. Some of this is safety based, but some of it is negative and directed at the child themselves. This can stunt natural enthusiasms and result in a person feeling different, not wanted, second rate. Counselling and hypnotherapy can help us move on from this early conditioning and appreciate that these attitudes are someone elses' problem and nothing to do with us and who we are. This healing work can really help to put these experiences into a much healthier perspective and value our own skills and potential. Understanding too, that life does bring disappointments is an important realisation. Not everything will go our way and setbacks, hurt and rejection are often part of the process of growing up and gaining life experience. The key to recovering positively from these disappointments is to learn to not absorb them or take them too personally. Often we may be in the wrong place at the wrong time, it may well be just one of those things. And even if it is personal, the truth is, not everyone is going to like us, in just the same way that we do not necessarily like everyone that we meet, or want to spend all our time with them. Learn to look at these situations from a different perspective, from the other persons point of view. It can be a valuable lesson and very enlightening. We can support ourselves in other ways too. Firstly, identify if there is one particular area that is more difficult confidence wise than another. For some people building and maintaining relationships may be tough, sometimes with the opposite sex, sometimes with the same sex. For other people work can be a real challenge, with fear of not being good enough or being exposed being quite common - this can often link back to difficult experiences in the classroom and can be worked on very effectively using hypnotherapy. Certainly identifying if there is a particular area of concern is very valuable as a first step in rectifying the problem. Then it is possible to start work on fixing it, which results in boosting confidence. Satisfying additional interests are good therapy too, as they help improve confidence and provide valuable stimulus. Sport, amateur dramatics, voluntary work, night school can be things to commit to on a regular basis. They require involvement and, for some people, that is good. It is also positive to take time to focus on the things that we enjoy. Cook a nice meal, open that bottle of good wine, play music, light candles, have a leisurely bath, put clean sheets on the bed, buy a bunch of flowers off the market. All these things are stepping stones to feeling in control and giving ourselves good positive reassurance. An important step for some people is to spring clean ones friends. It can be all to easy to keep people in our life just because they have always been around. That does not necessarily mean that they are good for us. If someone knows us very well they may have got into the habit of saying 'do not bother' rather than 'have a go'. Friends are human beings too and may well have their own agenda in keeping us exactly where we are. Sometimes taking the effort to meet and make new friends can really spice up our life. They can bring in a breath of fresh air that clears out the old cobwebs. So, here are a few of my ground rules for building and maintaining confidence levels: - Set oneself little challenges to do something new and/or different everyday, maybe eat something new, or travel a different route to work. - Speak to a stranger, this is not a chat up exercise! It means talk to the person in the lift or in the supermarket queue. And not just about the weather. - Never refuse an invite - you never know where it may lead. Often new doors have opened through doing something unexpected and different. - Be more receptive to opportunities. Take a chance, stretch yourself, have a go. - Learn to focus outwards rather than inwards. See the bigger picture. Often things are not about us, so learn to not take things personally. - Be aware of the perspective that you are using to interpret situations. Positive or negative? All experience has some value and can teach us a great deal about life and about ourselves if we let it.
guys today is d very first day of new year...today everybdy should go to temple an pray to god...:)
When we launched in June 2007, we wanted to support the stem cell field and the interested public by providing freely available content. Stem cell research was then - and is still - exciting and expanding. It requires highly varied experts to think and work together, and it requires the support and understanding of non-scientists. We believe we have been successful in creating a venue that highlights and explores the many facets and implications of stem cell science. It is now time for us to move on to fresh publishing challenges.
We have been helped by many contributors and experts who have generously given their time and insight. We give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who wrote articles or gave interviews, advice, and words of encouragement.
NRSC and this blog will continue to remain online as an archive. Nature and its sister titles remain committed, as ever, to publishing new research and news about stem cells.
Problem: my boyfriend talks ill of me in front of his friends. i know that he loves me, but he says that his friends will consider him a fool when they know that he s all lovey dovey with me. this really gets on my nerves sometimes. -trish
Solution: trish, you ll have to show your boyfriend that you are more precious to him than his friends. yes, beleive it or not, there is indeed such a stupid thing about boys... best thing to do now is to make him insecure. dont let him take you for granted. sometimes doing the same within your peer group helps. and soon he ll be eating out of your hand.. :)

The short term effects of pollution are burning sensation in the eyes, respiratory infections like pneumonia or bronchitis, nausea and headache as well as allergic reactions. High levels of pollution also enhanced asthmatic conditions. Chronic respiratory diseases, heart problems, lung cancer, and general damage to organs like the kidneys, brain, nerves and liver are the long term effects. The other effect is smoking. It damages the environment and is the cause of lung diseases even in passive smokers. If we try a little bit this can be avoided and it will be an effective measure to reduce the pollution levels in the atmosphere. Treatment of these diseases is a long drawn out and expensive affair and may not always have the desired effect.
Upper level ozone protects us from the sun's ultraviolet rays. Most urban cities are and industrial areas are full of polluted air ahich damage the ozone layer mostly. There is also always a potential health threat from the ground level ozone which is the primary ingredient of smog that is prevalent especially in the cold season. Ozone exposure can also severely inhibit the immune system.
So be aware! Act from today to reduce the pollution and do your bit to preserve the environment!
Cheese is rich in fat and calories but it is also rich in calcium and
contains conjugated linoleic acid, a "good" fat that may reduce your
risk of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. And this acid may help
you lose weight by blocking the storage of fat in your body. This
source of calcium is also good for the disease called osteoporosis in
which your bones start thinning.
As the popularity of the Linux system continues to grow, the interest in writing
Linux device drivers steadily increases. Most of Linux is independent of the hardwar
e it runs on, and most users can be (happily) unaware of hardware issues. But,
for each piece of hardware supported by Linux, somebody somewhere has written
a driver to make it work with the system. Without device drivers, there is no functioning
system.
Device drivers take on a special role in the Linux kernel. They are distinct "black
boxes" that make a particular piece of hardware respond to a well-defined internal
programming interface; they hide completely the details of how the device works.
User activities are performed by means of a set of standardized calls that are independent
of the specific driver; mapping those calls to device-specific operations
that act on real hardware is then the role of the device driver. This programming
interface is such that drivers can be built separately from the rest of the kernel,
and "plugged in" at runtime when needed. This modularity makes Linux drivers
easy to write, to the point that there are now hundreds of them available.
An array is a collection of variables of the same type that are referred to through
a common name. A specific element in an array is accessed by an index. In
C/C++, all arrays consist of contiguous memory locations. The lowest address
corresponds to the first element and the highest address to the last element.
Arrays may have from one to several dimensions. The most common array is the
null-terminated string
, which is simply an array of characters terminated by a null.Arrays and pointers are closely related; a discussion of one usually refers to the
other. This chapter focuses on arrays, while Chapter 5 looks closely at pointers. You
should read both to understand fully these important constructs.

Football is a ball game playesd by 22 people! There are two teams with 11 on each side. There is a referee inside the field and two lines-men outside. New Regulations suggest using two more referees behind each goal post!
Each player is supposed to assist his team mates into kicking the ball into the other team's goal post against its keeper(goal keeper).
This much for the day!

"Evil" is an ambiguous term meaning opposite of good. So simply "evil" is something YOU consider not good. Good is of creation and preservation of things that are not evil. Evil is the destruction of everything. The universe is divided into good and evil. Without good, there is no evil. Evil is one of the unique halfs that define the universe. Evil is rebellion against God. God has laid down guidelines in the form of the Bible and the laws inside it. Whenever we disobey these laws we commit sin, or evil. Thoughts that are selfish, lustful or filled with hate are also evil. The end result of all evil is death, of the body and of our relationship with God. God is perfectly good and therefore cannot be near evil. Evil is perception.
Astronomers have witnessed the biggest star explosion yet, that is thought to have generated more than 50 Suns' worth (1032kg) of different elements, which may one day go on to make new solar systems.
According to a report in Nature News, the explosion - dubbed SN2007bi - was spotted as part of a digital survey to hunt for supernovae at the Palomar Observatory near San Diego, California.
One supernova in particular was very unusual, recalls Avishay Gal-Yam, an astronomer at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel
, a member of the survey team. "This is definitely something we haven't seen before", he said.
Coimbatore (Tamil: கோயம்புத்தூர்), also commonly known as Kovai (Tamil: கோவை), is the second largest city in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the administrative headquarters of the Coimbatore District and a major Textile and Engineering hub of South India. It forms a part of the ancient Kongu Nadu region of South India, where its people were the first to establish territorial state. Coimbatore city including its sub-urban areas has a population of 24 lakh people.[1] It is referred as Manchester of South India in business circles. The Coimbatore city is known for his Siruvani Waterfalls and his very delicious water which is the primary source of water to the people of the city.
Situated on the banks of the Noyyal River, Coimbatore is known chiefly for its numerous textile mills, factories, engineering firms, automobile parts manufacturers, health care facilities, educational institutions, pleasant weather, hospitable people and for its Kongu Tamil. (also known as Kovai Tamil).[citation needed]. The hill stations of Ooty, Coonnor and Valparai are close to the city making it a good tourist attraction all over the year.
Etymology
The reason for the city's name is that a Kongu Ruler called Kovan ruled this region and hence the name Kovanpudur which evolved and became as Koyambuthur, Koyamuthur and anglicized as Coimbatore. In modern times the name is sometimes abbreviated as CBE based on the Indian Railways' station code.[2] It is also believed that the City is named after the presiding deity of the town "Koniamman" - "Koniamman pudur" turned into Coimbatore.
History
Information about the origins of Coimbatore is scarce. During the early period it was inhabited by only Irulas - forest dwellers. A second Chola empire arose in the mid-9th century, and gained the territory encompassing Coimbatore. They established a planned layout, with the Koniamman temple in the center. It is also found that in early days this area was ruled by tribals, Kosars tribe being the prominent one among them. They had their headquarters at Kosampathur, which probably later became the present Coimbatore.
The Sugarcane Breeding Institute at Coimbatore, 1927
Coimbatore was also the trading zone for the early visitng romans[citation needed]. Vellalore near coimbatore is a trading hub. By the early 14th century, the region was ruled by the Muslim rulers of Madurai under the Delhi Sultanate[citation needed]. The Muslim rule in Madurai was ended in the late 14th century by the newly formed Vijayanagara Empire. The Vijayanagara reign brought new settlers from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. In the 1550s, the military governors (Telugu -speaking Nayakars) of the Vijaynagara Empire took control of Madurai, with Coimbatore belonging to their territory. After the downfall of Vijayanagara Empire, the Madurai Nayaks established their state as an independent kingdom, with other Vijayanagar offshoots forming new kingdoms in Vellore, Tanjore, Gingee, Chandragiri and Mysore. The Nayaks introduced the Palayakkarars, who were military governors of their respective regions. By the 1700s, frequent fighting between Madurai and Mysore forces in the Coimbatore region resulted in the region being ruled by Mysore. At this time Coimbatore was still a village of around 3000 people.
In the 1760s, the Mysore throne was usurped in a coup by General Hyder Ali. Ali was hostile to the British, who were gaining a foothold in the area with the help of Arcot Nawab. A series of wars between the British and the Mysore forces continued till Tipu Sultan's death in 1799, when the Mysore throne was handed over to the earlier Mysore rulers. At that time the British annexed the Coimbatore region into the Madras Presidency. When Hyder Ali acquired Coimbatore, the population was around 3000. The village dwindled to 1500 by Tipu's death.
Coimbatore played a prominent role in the Second Poligar War against the British in 1801, when the first attack was done against the British Columns stationed in Coimbatore by the legendary Kongu Chieftain Dheeran Chinnamalai, one of the most famous Palayakkarar of Tamilnadu along with some Malabar and Mysore allied forces.
In 1804 Coimbatore was established as a capital for the newly formed Coimbatore district and in 1848, it was accorded the municipality status. Sir Robert Stanes, a British entrepreneur and philanthropist, became the first Chairman of the Coimbatore City Council and also founded the Stanes School in 1862, a major higher secondary school that is still a prominent educational institute of the district.
In 1981 Coimbatore became a corporation with annexation of the Singanallur municipality. The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is located in Coimbatore. In 2005, the University celebrated its centenary with the opening of the Research Institute building.
Geography
Sunset at Ukadam, Coimbatore
Coimbatore is situated in the extreme west of Tamil Nadu, near the state of Kerala. It is surrounded by mountains on the west, with reserve forests and the (Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve) on the northern side. The eastern side of the district, including the city is predominantly dry. The entire western and northern part of the district borders the Western Ghats with the Nilgiri biosphere as well as the Anaimalai and Munnar ranges. A western pass to Kerala, popularly referred to as the Palghat Gap provides its boundary. Because of its close proximity to the Western Ghats, the district is rich in fauna.
Many lakes and ponds were constructed near the river in ancient times. The city of Coimbatore has nine lakes (wetlands). In most of the urban ecosystems, these wetlands are the major life-supporting component with high concentrations of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrate species. The Coimbatore Urban wetlands harbours more than 125 species of resident and migratory birds, with August - October being the peak season. Spot-billed Pelican, Painted Stork, Open Billed Stork, Ibis, Spot-billed Duck, Teal, Black Winged Stilt are some of the migratory birds that visit Coimbatore wetlands regularly.
Apart from the species common to the plains, wild elephants, wild boars leopards, tigers, bison, various species of deer, Nilgiri Tahr, sloth bear and black-headed Oriole can also be found. The Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary (88 km) in the Western Ghats at an altitude of 1,400 meters covers an area of 958 km². Among the region's livestock animals are Kangeyam breed bulls (cross-bred by Mandradiar family in 17th century to suit the terrain). This breed, which helped the region gain a foothold in the dairy industry, are found only in Coimbatore and neighbouring districts[citation needed]. More than 20% of the district is classified as forest, lying in the west and north. The forests here are abundant in commercially significant trees such as teak, sandalwood, rosewood and bamboo. The Nilgiris slope of the Mettupalayam range is rich in sandalwood trees and bamboo. They vary from rich tropical evergreen forests of Punachi range to jungles of shrubs in southern ranges.
Apart from the high altitude regions of Western Ghats, most of the forest area has come under Lantana invasion. The locals refer to it as Siriki Chedi.

Coimbatore has a pleasant, salubrious climate, not reaching the high temperatures of other southern India cities. Situated in the Western part of the state of Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore is located at an elevation of about 398 meters. The mean maximum and minimum temperatures during summer and winter varies between 35°C to 18°C.[4] highest temperature ever recorded is 41 °C and lowest is 12 °C.[5]
Due to the presence of the mountain pass, major parts of the district benefit from the south-west monsoon in the months from June to August. After a warm, humid September, the regular monsoon starts from October lasting till early November. These monsoons are brought about by the retreating North-eastern monsoon. The average annual rainfall is around 700 mm with the North East and the South West monsoons contributing to 47% and 28% respectively to the total rainfall.[4] Although this rainfall is not enough to sustain the needs of the city for the entire year, small rivers like the Siruvani and Atthikadavu fulfil the city's water needs.
The soil is predominantly black, which is suitable for cotton cultivation, but it also has some red loamy soil. Coimbatore falls under the Class III/IV Seismic Zone, having experienced a 6.0 Richter scale earthquake in 1900.[6] The Sálim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History is located at Anaikatty in Coimbatore district.
Demographics
As of the 2001 census,[7] Coimbatore had a population of 930,882 [8] in Municipal Corporation limits . More recent estimates peg the population of Coimbatore at some 15 lakhs (1.5 million)[1] people. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Coimbatore has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%. Male literacy is 81% and female literacy is 74% with 11% of the population under 6 years of age. The language spoken in the Coimbatore city is mainly Kongu Tamil, an ancient dialect and unique flavor of the Tamil language predominantly spoken in the Kongu region.
The city's population is predominantly Hindu, along with sizeable Muslim and Christian populations. Sikhs and Jains are also nowadays present in small numbers. The Kongu Vellalar Gounder are the major population in and around the city. The city has a significant number of Nayakars (Naidus) and Chettiars who migrated and settled during the Vijayanagar Empire. The city also has many Keralites mainly from Palakkad (once part of Kongu Nadu) and North Indians like Jains and Marwaris, who are engaged in trade and commerce. Nowadays people even from the North-Eastern states of India, like Manipur and Nagaland have also moved in for jobs and studies.

The Coimbatore city is a traditional, multi-cultural inclusive society with its people still retaining their roots to their native surrounding villages and its culture. The people of Coimbatore are known for their well-cultured manners, honesty and hospitality.
There are numerous temples in the city including the Perur Temple, the Konniamman temple and the Dhyanalinga Yogic Temple. The Mariamman festivals, at the city's numerous Amman temples, are a major event in summer. A replica temple of Tirupathi is located in Valparai and another near Mettupalayam. A famous ISKCON temple is also located 9 km from the city. It is a famous temple dedicated for Lord Krishna. Marudamalai, a well known shrine to Murugan, is close to the city. Coimbatore has also been an abode for many siddhars or rishis, who were also experts in medicine, alchemy and astrology. The most prominent of them was Pambatti Siddhar who is said to have lived in Marudamalai. Many of his findings are recorded as poems.
The mosques on Oppanakara Street and Big Bazaar Street date back to the period of Hyder Ali. Christian missions date back to 1647 when permission was granted by the Nayak rulers to set up a small church in Karumathampatti (12 km). It was destroyed by Tipu Sultan's army resulting in a new church in 1804. In 1886, Coimbatore was constituted as a diocese after bifurcating with Pondicherry. Sikh Gurudwaras and Jain Temples are also present in Coimbatore. Many locations in the city including Kottaimedu have Muslims and Hindus living together which is also considered very sensitive as these locations become the prime target of crime during communal riots as was witnessed years back in the city. However, Coimbatore nowadays is a much more tolerant city.
Coimbatore Cuisine
Coimbatore cuisine is predominantly south Indian with rice as its base. However, the population of Coimbatore is multi-cultural due to the influx of migrant population from various regions of the country and this reflects in the food as well. The flavours are generally fairly mild, with variations to suit the local palette. Most locals still retain their rural flavour, with many restaurants serving food over a banana leaf. North Indian, Chinese and continental cuisines are also available. Mysorepa (a sweet made from lentil flour and ghee), idly, dosa, Halwa (a sweet made of different ingredients like milk, wheat, rice) and vada-sambar and biryani are popular among the locals. The recent influx of coffee shops and pizza shops has increased and serving as hangout locations for the youth.
Some very popular brands such as "Annapoorna", "Sri Krishna Sweets" and "Angannan" originated in Coimbatore. Some famous restaurants are " That's Y Food, Fodder Factory, Anandhas, Annapoorna, Peking, Annalakshmi etc.,"
Administration
DB Road, RS Puram, Coimbatore
The city is a Municipal Corporation as well as the district Headquarters. The city has a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and several councillors elected by people representing administrative wards, as well as a corporation Commissioner to administer the city headed by the District Collector. The District court is the highest court of appeal in Coimbatore. Despite being the largest revenue earning district, insufficient state government funds have resulted in the city's basic infrastructure being underdeveloped.
Indira Gandhi's assassination in 1984 was followed by large scale arson and looting. During the 1980s crime increased,Hindu - Muslim riots were frequent in the late 80's, reaching their peak in the 90's when a massive riot occurred in the Townhall and west Coimbatore area. Recently, the crime rate has improved, possibly as a result of increased police vigilance after the 1998 bomb blasts.[9] Post 2000 it has been a very safe city. Unlike other major cities, majority of shops and public transportation do not function after 11pm. Drunken driving and parking punishments are strictly enforced[citation needed].
When people think about the summer, for most, the first thing that comes to their mind is their stomach and how to make it flatter. This is normal; most people want to look their best. The question isn't whether or not a person wants a flatter stomach; it is usually a question on how to obtain one. The first thing that many people will wonder is where to find exercises that flatten the stomach.
There are many resources for finding exercises that flatten the stomach. The first source many people go to is the internet. From this source all a person has to do is type in "exercises that flatten the stomach" and a variety of sites will come up all in answer to this question. Some sites are paid sites that for a fee the website will give a detailed workout routine and usually eating program all in the hopes of flattening the stomach. Other sites will simply describe various exercises that flatten the stomach. Then there are the sites that sell videos that concentrate on these types of exercises. It may be a bit overwhelming for a person to decide on the best way to achieve their goal. For some people, the paid sites are wonderful since everything is laid out for them and is usually designed specifically for that individual based on their goals and current situation. For others, these types of sites are not an option; in that case the sites that offer free advice can be helpful. The videos are also excellent for people that like to exercise at home and do not want to rely on reading instructions in order to do the exercises correctly.
Besides the internet, there are also resources where are person can find exercises that flatten the stomach. For those that are truly dedicated to this goal, and has the time and money, sometimes a gym or fitness club is the way to go. It is at these places that a person can get one on one help from trainers and have access to different types of equipment all geared at flattening the stomach. This option however is not for everyone. Many people can not afford the membership fees and even if they can, it takes time to travel back and forth from the club, this is time that many people do not have. It may also be inconvenient for people who would have to find babysitters for children while they are working out.
The library is a great and often times overlooked place to find exercises that flatten the stomach. At the library a person has access to many books that are written on this topic along with videos that can be borrowed and magazines that can either be borrowed or read while at the library. Besides the information that can be found at the library, another advantage is that the books and videos are not purchased, so if a person does not like that particular selection, all the person has to do is return it, and try another one without investing large amounts of money to find just the right exercise. When a person does find what they like, they can then buy the video, book or magazine and know that they are getting what they want.
These are just a few sources a person can go to when looking for exercises that flatten the stomach. A person may want to try several different sources and decide which one works best for them given their own circumstance and then remember to follow through in order to achieve their goals.

INTRODUCTION TO BUDDHISM
As a child, Siddhartha the Buddha, was troubled by some of the same thoughts that children today have. They wonder about birth and death. They wonder why they get sick and why grandfather died. They wonder why their wishes do not come true. Children also wonder about happiness and the beauty in nature.
Because the Buddha knew what was in the hearts of children and human kind, he taught everyone how to live a happy and peaceful life. Buddhism is not learning about strange beliefs from faraway lands. It is about looking at and thinking about our own lives. It shows us how to understand ourselves and how to cope with our daily problems.
THE LIFE OF THE BUDDHA
Life in the Palace
Buddhism is one of the major religions in the world. It began around 2,500 years ago in India when Siddhartha Gautama discovered how to bring happiness into the world. He was born around 566 BC, in the small kingdom of Kapilavastu. His father was King Suddhodana and his mother was Queen Maya.
Soon after Prince Siddhartha was born, the wise men predicted that he would become a Buddha. When the king heard this, he was deeply disturbed, for he wanted his son to become a mighty ruler. He told Queen Maya, "I will make life in the palace so pleasant that our son will never want to leave."
At the age of sixteen, Prince Siddhartha married a beautiful princess, Yasodhara. The king built them three palaces, one for each season, and lavished them with luxuries. They passed their days in enjoyment and never thought about life outside the palace.
The Buddha Teaches
After his enlightenment, he went to the Deer Park near the holy city of Benares and shared his new understanding with five holy men. They understood immediately and became his disciples. This marked the beginning of the Buddhist community.
For the next forty-five years, the Buddha and his disciples went from place to place in India spreading the Dharma, his teachings. Their compassion knew no bounds, they helped everyone along the way, beggars, kings and slave girls. At night, they would sleep where they were; when hungry they would ask for a little food.
Whenever the Buddha went, he won the hearts of the people because he dealt with their true feelings. He advised them not to accept his words on blind faith, but to decide for themselves whether his teachings are right or wrong, then follow them. He encouraged everyone to have compassion for each other and develop their own virtue, "You should do your own work, for I can teach only the way."
He never became angry or impatient or spoke harshly to anyone, not even to those who opposed him. He always taught in such a way that everyone could understand. Each person thought the Buddha was speaking especially for him. The Buddha told his followers to help each other on the Way. Following is a story of the Buddha living as an example to his disciples.
Once the Buddha and Ananda visited a monastery where a monk was suffering from a contagious disease. The poor man lay in a mess with no one looking after him. The Buddha himself washed the sick monk and placed him on a new bed. Afterwards, he admonished the other monks. "Monks, you have neither mother nor father to look after you. If you do not look after each other, who will look after you? Whoever serves the sick and suffering, serves me."
Unless team India have sincerity and responsibility like that of other teams winning matches will be a dream.Sachin may be a gem of cricketer but he should not have attempted such a shot at that stage when team India was at the brink of victory. The BCCI should restrict players from appearing for commercials and also their match fee should be paid on the basis of performance. The ability of our batsmen is in the paper and none plays well when required. The tragedy of loosing matches appears to be a regular pracatice as far as team India is concerned. What a pity?
GUWAHATI, India, Nov 8 - Left-arm seamer Doug Bollinger grabbed five for 35 to set up Australia's six-wicket victory over India in the sixth one-dayer on Sunday for an unassailable 4-2 lead in the seven-match series.

All-rounders Jadeja and Praveen Kumar (54 not out) struck fifties and shared in a 74-run stand for the eighth wicket to lift the hosts
, who were tottering at 27 for five after choosing to bat first on a two-paced pitch
.
In-form Shane Watson struck 49 but the world champions suffered a mini collapse when off-spinner Harbhajan Singh took the wickets of Watson and Ricky Ponting (25) in quick succession.

I've just finished writing yet another essay for college. I wonder how people can be so unorganized that they finish their reports or essays the day before they have to give it to their teachers! I understand that when we're in the mid-session, things tend to pile up. Still, I believe that we have to get organized, since we need to be prepared for life!
If we always leave things for later, the brief but hard moments when we're anxious and stressed will definitely damage us in the future. Basically, if we do a little every day, we should be able to finish everything on time, right?
Agenda's and calendars were made for that back from the Roman era!!! So yeah, I'm going to post what I recommend in the next post. :)
Well, it's hard living in a condominium house, since we have to live by the rules and opinions of a few people. Our neighborhood is very quiet and last year there were many sad kids walking around looking for places to trick-or-treat at. This year, we want to be one of the houses that they can visit for chocolate treats. The only problem is that we can't put any decorations on our porch. We've heard another tenant fighting with one of the presidents of the board for our block and about putting up some Halloween-related objects. So, my family and I are going to decorate the front porch on the same day as Halloween! We don't care too much what they think and they can't argue what we do for one day.
So does anyone have any idea what kind of decorations I can put up so it won't take too long to put up?
